Every kind of help counts, and none of it requires you to work on the compiler.
Fix a bug, add a standard library package or improve the compiler. The small open issues on GitHub are a good place to start.

Introduce Salam to students, teachers and friends, and share what you build with it.
Salam is the Persian word for peace, and for hello. The language was designed by Seyyed Ali Mohammadiyeh and the Salam team, and grew out of more than a decade of language design work going back to 2015. The goal is to make programming more approachable for Persian speakers without giving up anything a systems language is supposed to offer.
Salam is released under the GNU GPL version 3: you are free to use it, read it, change it and redistribute it.
The contributing guide covers everything from building the compiler to sending your first pull request.
